Teeth Whitening Clinic

After years of coffee, wine and other agents, unsightly stains can build up on your teeth. The look is often less than spectacular. But what if you could take back years of staining in just a few trips to the dentist? What if, indeed.

Teeth whitening restores stained, discoloured teeth to their original, healthier shade, and is very safe under proper professional supervision. The results can last for up to a year, with home touch-ups prolonging the effects even longer.

Teeth whitening is a popular cosmetic procedure because it is relatively cheap and easy to do. At Wellington Aurora Dental we offer in-office and take-home whitening products to suit your preferences and your budget. The best part: you don't have to be a regular patient of our practice.

Regardless of the teeth whitening products you choose, we'll ask you in to our office for a 30-40 minute consultation. During this time we'll take photographs of your teeth (for later reference) along with a mold that we'll use to create custom trays. The consultation includes a cosmetic assessment with Dr. Pasha where you'll speak about your teeth whitening needs and decide what are the best teeth whitening products for your smile.

Zoom! Whitening System

The Zoom! teeth whitening system is our most popular product. The in-office treatment consists of four 15-minute applications of a gel that gets exposed to a special light that accelerates the teeth whitening process. You'll receive trays that let you apply additional applications at home.

Opalescence Take Home Whitening System

The Opalescence system involves taking a mold of your mouth to create a custom mouthpiece for use at home. You'll inject a special whitening gel into the mouthpiece and wear it at night while you sleep. The process is fast and comfortable, and you should see results after roughly ten days.

About Teeth Whitening

Today's teeth whitening products are affordable and easy to use. Their effects are permanent, but remember that your teeth will still change colour as they age; this is just a fact of life. To maintain a certain level of whiteness you'll likely have to return to the whitening process every now and then. Please keep this in mind when considering whitening your teeth.

You may experience heightened tooth sensitivity or mild tooth or gum sensitivity during whitening treatments. These symptoms are only temporary and disappear within a few days after the treatment is finished.
